I hear it all the time.

Trust me, I know.

But being me isn't easy. The hecticness that was UFC 110 was mind bottling. Trying to get everything ready for our athletes while having to factor in that they are thousands and thousands of miles away in a land down under, I'm amazed I still have hair to pull out.

But that is nothing compared to March...oh March. As Julius Caesar knew, "Beware the ides of March." Which I'm 99% sure is latin for "Be ready for 3 UFC events in 10 days."

That's right.

3 events.

10 days.

Do you remember years ago when there would be 1 event every 3 months? When a Grappling mag that was 2 months old was still technically current?

Well I do.

But come March 21st, March 27th, and March 31st, the UFC is gonna drop the proverbial (just for you Mauro Renallo) hammer and give not one....not TWO, but THREE freaking events for your backside.

What does that mean for you? That means you get to sit on the couch, kick your feet up, enjoy a nice cold Bud Light (per Brock Lesnar's approval), and enjoy this wonderful sport.

What does that mean for me?

That means I gotta make sure fight short are en route to Colorado...and New Jersey...and North Carolina. Or maybe to a manager's house in Las Vegas. Or an agent in Huntington Beach. Are the consent forms in? Are there 2 pairs of shorts in 2 different colors? Are the logos right? Do I look good?

Pfft...of course I look good.

Now I know what you're saying. "Quit complaining, you're lucky."

And you're right. I'm not complaining. But I needed somewhere to vent. You guys are my confessional. You guys are my best friend. You guys are my therapist. Speaking of which, we still need to talk about that Kool Aid incident back when I was 7. Next time, though.

So tomorrow, Gabe from Jaco Clothing and myself head off to Las Vegas for UFC 109.

It's gonna be an action packed week. Photoshoots galore, as well as video to be shot, accounts to be hit up, and of course, fights to be watched.

We have 4 guys on the card, so root for Phillipe Nover, Brian Stann, Rolles Gracie, and Frank Trigg. Appreciate it. ;)

A lot of people tell me how lucky I am to go to Vegas all the time. Don't get me wrong, I live a very blessed life. I wake up every morning and take a second to really soak it all in...however, 6 days in Vegas is way too much. 2 days is more than enough. Luckily, I'm going to be so focused with work that I won't have time to let Las Vegas suck me in. Plus, since I don't drink, and the only way I'd gamble is on UCONN football, I'm safe this week :)

I'm really looking forward to a nice rest after this trip, feel like I've been go go go for so long.

This past weekend, James aka Mannaze and myself headed up to LA to spend the weekend with our homie Dane, as well as do a photoshoot with Mark Miller. It was crazy to realize that there's all this cool stuff, which seems foreign to us, and it's only 2 hours away. I grew up in LA, and yet, I never really appreciated it. We went to the Hollyhock house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, and hit up the Griffith Observatory. Snapping shots left and right, they'll be up later this week. Got a chance to bust out the Yashica to snap some *hopefully* cool B&W shots. Can't wait to develop them. Let me tell you, there is NOTHING like rolling down Sunset Blvd. in a convertible '61 Limcoln Continental. Keep your Bentleys and Lambos, this is the head turner. Much love to Dane and Fight Shark for the awesome weekend.

Sorry for all the writing with no pics or video, but they're coming, I promise.
